Bootcamps

Last september 2010, Gregory Capra bootcamps were launched. These are straight coming from the USA. They are normally training sessions for marines, special forces or GIs. The aim of these activities is to prepare physically and to strengthen these soldiers.

Bootcamps have been nowadays adapted to be accessible to everyone. No specific sport level is required to attend these events. One session lasts on average one hour and a half. Mainly, the sport sessions enable to train on running, cardio (tipping, interval running…) and muscle strengthening (push-ups, abs, dips ...) like a real muscle training session.

Each coach owns his sport specialty. He may decide to direct the sport session using his chosen field to improve the content of the session so that “bootcampers” might discover new sport abilities. For example, the bootcamp of January 2nd 2011 was organized by a champion of full contact karate. We got the pleasure to discover an initiation to this sport. It enables the attendants to feel that outdoor bootcamps are made to be live and interesting, discovering new things at every session.

All attending athletes leave the sport sessions happy and sweating. They are always asking for more and are nowadays used to come every Sunday for their Sunday sport session. The aim of the bootcamps is to train having fun. Therefore a real group cohesion has been installed among the “bootcampers”. These activities are proposed to companies to make employees in a same team feel better and to make them reunify having a real team spirit.

Grégory Capra has developed a new concept to link sport, good mood, entertainment, team spirit and sweat. Don’t hesitate to ask some information about the new cities that have been put in place to register asap.
